Shows like Game of Thrones on Netflix

Game of Thrones Season 8 was just released and of course, GoT itself from Season 1-8 is not streaming on Netflix and nor will it be on the Streaming platform anytime soon.

The fantasy drama film is said to be The best TV series in the world and watched by over 30 million(and increasing) of the world’s population and has won nearly 40 Emmy Awards more than any other show ever existed.

Why is Game of Thrones not on Netflix?

HBO and Netflix are two entertainment giants. I mean in this new age of streaming TV, Netflix and HBO are competitors. Game of Thrones belongs to HBO and there’s no way they’ll make it available on Netflix.

What do GoT fans love so much about Game of Thrones?

  • Is it the Dragons, the White Walkers and the Epic fantasy of it all?
  • Is it the schemes and betrayals as knives are plunged deep into the back of friends and foes?
  • The romance between 2 star-crossed lovers or that of forbidden love?
  • A war that leaves the ground scorched, the men lay dying in the dirt with wives widowed and chaos reigns throughout the land?
  • The duels and combat between powerful warriors that fight for loyalty, fight for greed or those that fight for a cause greater than that of themselves?

Whatever the reason may be, I have put together 17 solid Game of Thrones alternative Tv shows streaming on Netflix.

If you’re not a fan or think GoT is overrated, but want something that follows quite the same plot or story lines, then you’re at the right place.

The series have similar story lines, exciting with Tremendous characters that you can binge-watch if you don’t have HBO.
